Isabelle and Gilles are pleased to open up their homely, family-friendly site, the ideal spot for you to relax and the source of your future happy holiday memories. The camp site sits at the foot of the medieval town of Loches, a town of Art and History and unquestionably one of the "most beautiful small sites in France", which you can explore along the path that starts at the entrance to the camp site and follows the river. You will but admire the town intra-muros, with its ramparts and pedestrian thoroughfares, be delighted by the traditional twice-weekly markets, and be sorry to leave so soon. All our team provide the best possible arrangements to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our membership of the label 'CAMPING QUALITY' and 'TURISM QUALITY' are your guarantee of a quality assurance and a friendly-service policy that are recognised by our fellow professionals within the industry and acclaimed by customers. To prepare 2015 and new European laws with 'TURISM and HANDICAP', La Citadelle bought a special-mobil for disable people from this year.

Free on the bar area, and pay on campsites

Our region in close-up: Here, you are in a region with an unrivalled historical background, alongside the magnificent Loire river – itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site – in the north, and unblemished, protected natural history in the parklands and ornamental lakes of the Brenne regional nature park and the unspoilt villages of the south. Our legendary “gentle Tourangelle climate” so favoured by the Kings of France and the Ladies of Touraine will only enhance your enjoyment of these architectural gems, monuments to a rich history that stretches deep and wide.
